COMBOS are the combination of 2 or more Composite Rates (Recipes) so that all the Material and Labour costs for each recipe can all be costed in one trace, saving you the time it takes to go to each category, select the other items and trace them separately. For Example: With a Timber Floor COMBO: The Floor items (Bearers, Joists, Nails, Flooring, Glue etc) come from the Timber Floor category, the Piers (Brick, Timber, Concrete Stumps, UniPiers etc) come from the Piers and Stumps category and the Pad Footings (Pads or Augered Piers) come from the Concrete category. Instead of having to go to each of the 3 categories, find the items and then trace or plot them individually...you can just use the COMBO and cost it all in ONE trace....saving you between 66% and 75 % of the time it would normally take to do all the individual items. All Combos allow you to change any of their individual components to suit the actual job. You can change (or delete) the specs of any part.
